Italy’s Blue Willa has an eerie style that I’m digging a lot on this self-titled record of theirs. The folk-inspired simplicity, dissonant guitars, and sharp howls of the project’s frontwoman are all too potent to deny.
The Needle Drop
It’s hard to describe Blue Willa’s music and for this reason we have only one piece of advice: listen to it. It’s our album of the month.
A debut that captivates and convinces with the candor of Mirko and Serena’s writing skills and the perceivable alchemic empathy in studio.
VOTE 8/10 – Rumore
An album that highly succeeds both aesthetically and emotionally, captivating the listener.
VOTE 8/10 – Il Mucchio Selvaggio
This album is a pleasant and intricate surprise.
Music played with an open heart, bound to be on everyone’s lips.
